This game is boring

Posted : 1 year, 4 months ago on 8 July 2008 08:55 (A review of Arcade Classics)

Recently I took a look at Arcade Classics because I didn't really know what was featured on this game. In 1996 came this very game which does feature only 3 games and these are Centipede, Missile Command, Pong (which is included as a bonus yes that is the best they can do). As for these there all Atari games so why wasn't the game called Atari Arcade Classics. The main issue with this game is that the graphics and sound is the same so you don't get any remixed versions just ports from the Atari 2600. I don't really need to go into that much detail of these games cause we have seen them before. I own the Atari 2600 and believe me there was better games like Food Fight for instance that was a classic.

This is a poor game with only 3 games on here when you could of got more I mean look at the Mega Games also released on Genesis/Mega Drive at least one of them had 10 games in 1. If you see this game it is worth a miss the only good thing to say about it is the intro screen.

Weird Game Cover

Posted : 1 year, 5 months ago on 18 June 2008 04:38 (A review of Phalanx)

Phalanx is your average space shooter on the SNES but it has some of the most weird box covers I have ever seen and why false advertising. The old guy with the Banjo does not even feature in the game why this happened I read somewhere that the developers added the man to attract customers as many space shooters where on SNES at that time. The game is OK but to me it's just pretty much the same as most space shooters and I for one am not a big fan of this type of genre.

Noah in Wolfenstein 3D

Posted : 1 year, 5 months ago on 14 June 2008 03:35 (A review of Super Noah's Ark 3D)

This was a bible game released by Wisdom Tree which Nintendo never licensed the game so Wisdom Tree never had any games licensed games by Nintendo at all so they are committing a sin aren't they well I think they are. Now about this game Super Noah's Ark 3D this is just a copy of Wolfenstein 3D instead you play as Noah and animals attack you, what you got to do is knock out the animals with food (yes food can knock out animals now lol) The game is a mess I played it with an emulator and the controls just suck everything about this is bad and the music is awful. I can't explain this anymore I will give this game a 1/10 trust me it is that bad. I only played this just to see what it is like so I don't follow the bible or go to church.

Street Fighter II review

Posted : 1 year, 5 months ago on 11 June 2008 05:17 (A review of Street Fighter II)

This game was released in Brazil only this version I am talking about, released by TecToy. This is Street Fighter 2 which you know it is kind of weird it got released in 1997 well Brazil were still getting games on the Master System I have no clue why though. Street Fighter 2 is very different from other versions such as characters are replaced E. Honda, Zangief, Dhalsim and Vega are not here and are replaced with Balrog, Sagat and M. Bison (these are playable from the start as in World Warrior these were only CPU characters you could not unlock them). The graphics are good for an 8 bit system but as it is the Sega Master System the moves have been limited so you will not to be able to perform all the moves from other versions. This is a good port it even adds music which in 8 bit it sounds good and also adds an announcer voice which is OK. If you do want to play this version get a Master System emulator and find the ROM because finding the cartridge would be too hard as it was only released in Brazil.

Sonic Blast review

Posted : 1 year, 5 months ago on 11 June 2008 04:42 (A review of Sonic Blast)

Sonic Blast on the Sega Master System was a game that was only released in Brazil in 1996. The games stages are pretty short and the game is fairly easy though the controls are a little slow at responding at times but this is a good Sonic title and is worth checking out.

3 Games can you do them all in the time limit?

Posted : 1 year, 6 months ago on 28 May 2008 08:25 (A review of Nintendo World Championships 1990)

Nintendo World Championships this was not out in shops it was only for the Championship where players would see who is the fastest at doing these games. I was only very young while this took place which only happened in the US which I am not from there as I am from the UK. The games feature a certain target on each stage on once that has been done it will take you to the next game.

The game has Super Mario Bros in this one you have to get 50 coins to by doing it faster will give you more time to do the next stage. Rad Racer is the next game and in this game you must complete a race and again you have to do it as fast as possible so you will get plenty of time to do the next challenge. The next game and final one is Tetris really here just get a high score. After doing these games it will give you a score of each game and the time it had taken to complete.

I have played this and it is good but with it only been a championship cartridge I am not going to rate it top but as each game Mario is the best on here no doubt about it. The rating is not so good only 4 this is not a full game which is something you will already know if you are reading this. I did play this game but only with on an emulator.

Triple H is the King of Kings

Posted : 1 year, 6 months ago on 26 May 2008 11:04 (A review of Triple H: King of Kings - There is Only One)

Triple H one of WWE's biggest wrestlers a 12 time champion now here is his DVD The King of Kings. I am happy to own the DVD it has some great matches on what a whole load of matches and history not on here.

Triple H and The Rock not a single match at all this is due to The Rock's Three disc DVD coming out which the matches will feature on there. I would of liked Triple H VS The Rock from Summerslam 1998 which was a ladder match why this was missing maybe down to WWE releasing The whole Summerslam boxset it would of been nice though to add that match.

The DVD features some great matches even though I already have them on some of my other WWE DVD's it is nice to own them on this collection. So here are my favorite matches on the DVD.

No Holds Barred WWE Championship Match
Triple H vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin
No Mercy (17/10/99)

Career vs. WWE Title Hell in a Cell Match
Triple H vs. Cactus Jack
No Way Out (27/02/00)

2 out of 3 Falls for the World Heavyweight Championship
Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels
Armageddon (15/12/02)

Hell in a Cell for the World Heavyweight Championship
Batista vs. Triple H
Vengeance (26/06/05)

Last Man Standing Match
Ric Flair vs. Triple H
Survivor Series (27/11/05)

Those are my favorite on this DVD I did enjoy the extra which featured a match with Henry O. Godwinn in a Hog Pen match it's really good. As much as the cover say it features commentary with Triple H only one match which is Triple H 1st professional match which you know not in great quality. I would of like to have herd Triple H do commentary on every match I like to here what there thoughts were about the match. Another match which should of been added and this is one of the best Triple H VS Cactus Jack from Royal Rumble 2000 that was classic but I own the WWF release of that anyway. The DVD is still good but it's Triple H this guy should be getting a 3 disc DVD set not 2. But no doubt Triple H is one of my all time favorite wrestlers which the important thing is I did enjoy the set just more matches needed to be added. This DVD however is better then The Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin that was disappointing. A WWE DVD collector needs to add this to their collection.9/10

The History of Undertaker

Posted : 1 year, 6 months ago on 26 May 2008 04:34 (A review of WWE Tombstone - History of the Undertaker)

This is Undertaker's DVD which does not feature a documentary just a history of matches of Undertaker's career but the DVD is still great anyway.

My favorite matches on this DVD

Fully Loaded 1999 - First Blood Match vs. Stone Cold - This match is great it features Vince McMahon on commentary which is funny at times. This is a really interesting match the logo blurring is not that bad during the match.

No Mercy 2002 - Hell in a Cell Match vs. Brock Lesnar - This is another great match Brock Lesnar was a great wrestler in WWE and watching this match is just really good.

Unforgiven 1998 - Inferno Match vs. Kane - This match is a classic but I now have these on other DVD's which I have it 3 times and also have it on VHS. Alot happens during the match which I will not go into detail you may have seen the match or not.

King of the Ring 1998 - Hell in a Cell Match vs. Mankind - The best on this DVD this is what I bought the DVD for in the first place. Mankind aka Mick Foley been thrown off the cell that was amazing and then been chokeslammed through the cage it was unbelievable then Mankind's mouth full with blood it was a fantastic match. This match alone is worth owning on DVD. The logo blurring is alright.

I really don't need to go on about this DVD anymore it is worth having just a shame because I really did want to know the background of the Undertaker real name Mark Callaway. But any WWE fan should have this DVD even if you hate him you cannot take away the fact that Undertaker is one of the best wrestlers in history.
