(A review of WWE WrestleMania 24)WrestleMania 24 was at Citrus Bowl in Orlando Florida now the arena was awesome it was out doors watch just made it so great during matches you notice it get from light to dark which just adds a more awesome effect. The matches on the DVD are better then what previous WrestleMania's had on offer such as been disappointed with at Mania's like 23 and 22. This one just has better quality matches and some which were just OK. Now lets get on with the matches. Belfast Brawl Finlay vs. JBL This was a good way to start of an event like WrestleMania I found it enjoyable both Finlay and JBL are good wrestlers. Trash Cans and such are used in the match which makes it better to me as I like Hardcore wrestling. As for the winner of the match I was happy. (7/10) Money in the Bank Ladder Match Chris Jericho vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. John Morrison vs. Carlito vs. CM Punk vs. MVP vs. Mr Kennedy This was such a good match not the best WrestleMania 21 still has the best Money in the Bank Ladder match in my opinion. Shelton Benjamin offers some great movies during the match as well as Jericho and CM Punk. I was impressed with John Morrison doing a moonsalt from the top with a ladder hitting the rest of the opponents this is one thing Morrison is great at Ladder Matches. This is highly enjoyable to any wrestling fan. (9/10) Battle for Brand Supremacy Batista vs. Umaga As for this match I did not like it William Regal says Umanga when it is Umaga thats not whats bad about it though. It just offers the same stuff Batista delivers I don't mind Batista or even Umaga but I think Umaga should of at least got the win this year. (5/10) ECW Championship Match Chavo Guerrero (Champion) vs. Kane A very short match lasts or 8 to 12 seconds a chokeslam to Chavo and thats it he is out this type of match is just not the place for WrestleMania and it also feels pointless Joey Styles and Tazz doing Commentary on the match. (1/10) Career Threatening Match Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels If you want a classic match with 2 great wrestlers then this is one Ric Flair VS Shawn Michaels. I have to admit I am not a fan of Ric Flair I never have been but he does offer a good match and yes it was sad the ending. (8/10) Playboy Bunnymania Lumberjack Match Maria & Ashley vs. Beth Phoenix & Melina I did not even watch this match because Snoop Dogg was featured in it and it features divas I don't care about. WWE Championship Triple Threat Match Randy Orton (Champion) vs. John Cena vs. Triple H John Cena has headlined the last 2 WrestleMania's and finally Randy Orton headlines it been the Champion I like Triple H and Orton and dislike Cena but this match was good but it just finishes in my mind with a cheap shot but still happy that Orton came out on top because he should of. I had to also say that Cena did do well in the match and did offer some different moves. (8.5/10) The Biggest vs. The Best Big Show vs. Floyd "Money" Mayweather We all knew who was going to win this match Floyd Mayweather I wanted Big Show to win and was this match fair no it was not. Floyd could not beat big show with his hands he had to use Brass Knucks which to me thats a cheap shot. Big Show does well during the match and overall it was good. I just wish I was at WrestleMania as when Mayweather was coming to the ring money was coming down. (7/10) World Heavyweight Championship Match Edge (Champion) vs. The Undertaker To me this was match of the night not only did Edge prove he was worthy of been in the main event but he also showed how good he could compete with The Undertaker. Edge gets out of many of Undertaker's moves and Undertaker shows shows his best side during the match. Overall this is exciting and it does not even matter if you hate Edge or Undertaker you got to respect the effort of these 2 wrestlers during the match. The promo before the match started was just good which no other wrestling company can make promos better then WWE it really gets you into look forward to the match. The Undertaker is now 16-0 we knew he would win. (9.5/10) The DVD also features 2 extras yeah only 2 I would not class them as extras really maybe if it showed some backstage footage, even promos, interviews with the winners and no none of that is here on this 3 disc set. The hall of fame is OK it's not something I am interested in but The Rock's speech is worth watching it was funny and what Rock said to John Cena yeah he got what was coming to him. Ric Flair also tells us about many moments. As for what else is included is the 24 man other the top Battle Royle for a match for the ECW Championship this match was featured on wwe.com which was good I won't go into detail with that because you know Kane got the ECW Championship title match on WrestleMania. So Disc set up this year has changed on Disc 1 has WrestleMania 24 which ends off after the WWE Championship match. It continues on Disc 2 with Mayweather VS Big Show and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. After WrestleMania ends on Disc 2 comes the first part of the WWE Hall of Fame 2008. On Disc 3 is the final part of Hall of Fame 2008 with the 24-man Battle Royle. This is WrestleMania which without any good extras it really makes the DVD feel rushed and that WWE put no effort in at all they really do need to put more extras in the releases. This DVD is a must buy and as I said it is a whole lot better then WrestleMania 22 and 23 for WWE collectors this a must have in your collection. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Triple H is the King of Kings
Posted : 1 month, 4 weeks ago on 26 May 2008 11:04
(A review of WWE - Triple H: King of Kings)Triple H one of WWE's biggest wrestlers a 12 time champion now here is his DVD The King of Kings. I am happy to own the DVD it has some great matches on what a whole load of matches and history not on here. Triple H and The Rock not a single match at all this is due to The Rock's Three disc DVD coming out which the matches will feature on there. I would of liked Triple H VS The Rock from Summerslam 1998 which was a ladder match why this was missing maybe down to WWE releasing The whole Summerslam boxset it would of been nice though to add that match. The DVD features some great matches even though I already have them on some of my other WWE DVD's it is nice to own them on this collection. So here are my favorite matches on the DVD. No Holds Barred WWE Championship Match Triple H vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin No Mercy (17/10/99) Career vs. WWE Title Hell in a Cell Match Triple H vs. Cactus Jack No Way Out (27/02/00) 2 out of 3 Falls for the World Heavyweight Championship Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels Armageddon (15/12/02) Hell in a Cell for the World Heavyweight Championship Batista vs. Triple H Vengeance (26/06/05) Last Man Standing Match Ric Flair vs. Triple H Survivor Series (27/11/05) Those are my favorite on this DVD I did enjoy the extra which featured a match with Henry O. Godwinn in a Hog Pen match it's really good. As much as the cover say it features commentary with Triple H only one match which is Triple H 1st professional match which you know not in great quality. I would of like to have herd Triple H do commentary on every match I like to here what there thoughts were about the match. Another match which should of been added and this is one of the best Triple H VS Cactus Jack from Royal Rumble 2000 that was classic but I own the WWF release of that anyway. The DVD is still good but it's Triple H this guy should be getting a 3 disc DVD set not 2. But no doubt Triple H is one of my all time favorite wrestlers which the important thing is I did enjoy the set just more matches needed to be added. This DVD however is better then The Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin that was disappointing. A WWE DVD collector needs to add this to their collection.9/10 0 comments, Reply to this entry
The History of Undertaker
Posted : 1 month, 4 weeks ago on 26 May 2008 04:34
(A review of WWE Tombstone - History of the Undertaker)This is Undertaker's DVD which does not feature a documentary just a history of matches of Undertaker's career but the DVD is still great anyway. My favorite matches on this DVD Fully Loaded 1999 - First Blood Match vs. Stone Cold - This match is great it features Vince McMahon on commentary which is funny at times. This is a really interesting match the logo blurring is not that bad during the match. No Mercy 2002 - Hell in a Cell Match vs. Brock Lesnar - This is another great match Brock Lesnar was a great wrestler in WWE and watching this match is just really good. Unforgiven 1998 - Inferno Match vs. Kane - This match is a classic but I now have these on other DVD's which I have it 3 times and also have it on VHS. Alot happens during the match which I will not go into detail you may have seen the match or not. King of the Ring 1998 - Hell in a Cell Match vs. Mankind - The best on this DVD this is what I bought the DVD for in the first place. Mankind aka Mick Foley been thrown off the cell that was amazing and then been chokeslammed through the cage it was unbelievable then Mankind's mouth full with blood it was a fantastic match. This match alone is worth owning on DVD. The logo blurring is alright. I really don't need to go on about this DVD anymore it is worth having just a shame because I really did want to know the background of the Undertaker real name Mark Callaway. But any WWE fan should have this DVD even if you hate him you cannot take away the fact that Undertaker is one of the best wrestlers in history. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
WWE Royal Rumble 2008
Posted : 2 months ago on 25 May 2008 04:58
(A review of WWE Royal Rumble 2008)The Royal Rumble one of the biggest events of the year which was good yet disappointing and what I mean is some weak matches and some bad editing. Career Threatening Match [Ric Flair vs. MVP] - I like MVP but I really hate Ric Flair he is to old and boring but trust me if you like the nature boy then watch it if not I would skip it. Chris Jericho vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield - This is where editing takes place right in this very match but believe me it is a really good match. The ending happens near the end this is where Jericho made a mistake you will notice the editing back the crowd cheering then a loud booing noise covers up the editing then changes back to cheering. I like steel chairs been smacked over heads and blood which this contains so it is worth watching. World Heavyweight Championship Match [Edge vs. Rey Mysterio] - This match is boring I hate Edge but I like Rey Mysterio and why this match sucks Vickie Guerrero I hate her been GM of Smackdown shes terrible. You know who won it was Edge when it should of been Rey Mysterio. Thank God we seen Edge get beat by the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 24. WWE Championship Match [Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy] - This match is good you really see how Jeff earned this match he's worked hard to get to a main event singles match and believe me it is a good match. I like both Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy. There is editing again on this Mike Adamle made a mistake in the live event but saying Jeff Hardy's name wrong only WWE chopped it out. Royal Rumble Match - One of the biggest events of the year which will take a wrestler to WrestleMania 30 men battle it out. This match starts with 2 good wrestlers Undertaker and Shawn Michaels why so early I will never know. The outcome of the match for me is poor only for John Cena to be number 30 and win the dam thing shame I wanted Triple H to win. Anyway the rumble is good and even if you hate Cena it is worth watching. The funny thing was John Cena won that rumble but never won the main event at Wrestlemania what a waste but some what funny. Extras Home Video Exclusive: Triple H Talks To John Cena Post Royal Rumble Match Intercontinental Championship Match - RAW January 14, 2008 [Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton] - A good extra what we need is an extra match this is not really a match but it is great that it was added here. The picture is not so great but this match has Jeff Hardy doing a sawnton bomb from the titantron on to Randy Orton good just the camera angle kind of sucks. This is great to add to it Overall: The event has it fair share of poor matches and good matches it should of added more to the event as the extras these are really piss poor should of been more added but WWE never do that those tight bastards (sory for my swearing). The DVD is in a Steel Book (Steel case) which is great to add into my WWE collection and anyone who has one or starting one. I will give it a 7/10. Worst matches Career Threatening Match [Ric Flair vs. MVP] World Heavyweight Championship Match [Edge vs. Rey Mysterio] Good matches The Royal Rumble match WWE Championship Match [Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy] Chris Jericho vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield 7/10 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Matt Hardy's story very interesting
Posted : 2 months, 2 weeks ago on 8 May 2008 02:16
(A review of Ultimate Insiders - Hardy Boys - Behind The Enigma)I bought this DVD for £4 at ASDA a good DVD to Matt Hardy's story i bought this for mainly i wanted to hear more on the break up of him and Lita and it is here in a lot of detail so pick it up if you see it cheap. Jeff Hardys story is about him going to TNA it is short only just under an hour then it features some pretty bad tracks of Jeff Hardy singing. The DVD also contains the Hardy's early matches which is done with a cheap camera and the picture kind of sucks and bit hard to watch. While Matt done this DVD he was not in WWE this was done while he was released from the company which Matt goes into more detail so as i said buy it for the Matt Hardy story it's really interesting. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Best event from Smackdown
Posted : 2 months, 2 weeks ago on 8 May 2008 01:41
(A review of Wwe - Armageddon 2006)Armageddon 2006 had to be one of the best ppv's of 2006 every match was almost a classic well you had the divas with a boring segment and a match with Cena which i had to say was bad. The event has it's great matches which i do include. Inferno Match - Kane vs. MVP I good way to start of the event though i thought it was best keeping this near to the end an interesting match. MVP really did a good job and showed how good of a wrestler he is. WWE Tag Team Championship - 4-Way Ladder Match - Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. William Regal & Dave Taylor vs. MNM vs. the Hardys This match made this event and really it's mostly down to The Hardys and MNM without them this mach would of been bad. The Hardys give some very exciting action all the through the match along with MNM and Joey Mercury getting his nose broke all that blood all over. Regal and Taylor were boring not their style of match. London and Kendrick i hate this team but they did a decent job but should of not won. The Hardy's should of won they were the real wrestlers during this match. Last Ride Match - Undertaker vs. Mr. Kennedy I am a Ken Kennedy fan because of his entertainment and this guy a great at wrestling. This match is good and exciting all the way through The Undertaker gets thrown of the Armageddon titantron and Kennedy getting a tombstone on the limo great stuff all the way in this match. WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match - Gregory Helms vs. Jimmy Wang Yang Not the best of matches but Jimmy Wang Yang aka Akio is a good wrestler and when you have Gregory Helms but in the match you get an even better match this one was good. The matches I never found interesting United States Championship Match - Chris Benoit vs. Chavo Guerrero I don't care for this match i like hardcore mostly just this style of match is like any others. Chavo i find a bit boring and Chris Benoit well OK. Boogeyman vs. the Miz I like Boogeyman i find him entertaining but the Miz is an idiot and he's boring this match is over fast and you know who won i don't need to go on. Naughty Or Nice Lingerie Contest - Kristal vs. Layla vs. Jillian vs. Ashley A good PPV and trash to fill up a good show a like the WWE divas but this is nothing Lingerie contest not important. This segment even gets worst even it comes to Big Dick Johnson doing a dance well this sucks and it's sick. Batista & John Cena vs. King Booker & Finlay Boring match which is not important why this was the main event i will never know. Special Feature 1st Inferno Match - Unforgiven 1998 - Undertaker vs. Kane This match is good but i have this on previous DVD's but nice to have a again. This is the best Inferno match there is. Thats all your extras on this DVD non others and why i don't know i would of liked to have seen some interviews and what happened with MVP that would of been good. Well why did WWE have to make this event so good well after the fail of ECW December to Mismember they had to. Overall WWE Armageddon 2006 is the best event Smackdown has to offer believe that it's true. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Skins Series 2 a must have DVD
Posted : 2 months, 2 weeks ago on 5 May 2008 02:19
(A review of Skins: Complete Series 2 [2007])Skins Series 2 is a lot more serious then Series 1 but this is just as good with a few shocks put into the series and ome sad moments. My favorite episode is the one with Sid because it was interesting and a bit shocking it's because Mike Bailey is a great actor he plays Sid. Tony's episode is good one also. There is sadness in Jal's episode but this one is brilliant one of the best in the series. The last episode sees the final of the Skins cast as a new one will replace them. Cassie episode which is on disc 3 is a really sad one but overall great acting from all the cast Chris just makes it a sad one check that one out and you will know what i mean. The DVD features great extras such as Skins in New York, The Skins Secret party, Interviews which are all good extras. This is worth buying this 3 disc DVD this is classic TV and British TV at it's very best. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Wrestling at it's best

(A review of WWE - Rob Van Dam - One of a Kind)This DVD was fantastic i had bought it a long time ago but just never watched it but i enjoyed it. RVD has a whole lot of talent and here you see some of the best matches of RVD most from his ECW days which come out as some of the best. His WCW days don't really show that much of great things about him as Robbie V as these matches are boring. Some of my favorite matches from the DVD was when he vs. Jerry Lynn it was great how both men pulled this match off. It has matches from WWE showing some brilliant ladder matches with Christian and Jeff Hardy. If you like RVD and the old ECW days you will enjoy this 2 disc DVD because RVD is one of a kind. 0 comments, Reply to this entry

Not the Best more like worst
Posted : 3 months, 1 week ago on 14 April 2008 09:03
(A review of WWE - The Best of Intercontinental Championship)WWE cash in on an old VHS from 1993 to show you the best of the Intercontinental Championship of 1992-93. This only features 5 matches what what i can say non of them are good. All 4 matches feature Shawn Michaels while only 1 shows Bret "Hitman" Hart. Why did WWE release this they should of just made a a new WWE DVD showing the best intercontinental champion matches but no WWE release this too make quick cash. Without of a doubt this is one of the worst WWE DVD's i have seen it is boring and not worth the money i only own this DVD as i got it in a box set with 2 others. Just skip this one. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
