This game sucks nothing like wrestling

This is my review i did on game gamespot

WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2008 finally comes on to the Wii but did it play well and what is the game like. Before i went to college i went and bought the game for a price of £34.99 cheapest price in stores to buy this game.
This game only has 5 modes and this is what it is Single, Tag Team, Hardcore, KO Mode and Triple Threat. So i'm going to tell you about them.

Single well you already know what that is but very short.
Tag Team this was so easy to win all that happens you lay your finisher on your opponent the tag team partner will break up the pin throw them out of the ring you pin your opponent 1,2,3 you have win or the computer has.
Hardcore what is so hardcore on this all it has is steel chairs and its just boring i can't even say its hardcore.
KO Mode - all you have to do is KO your opponent simple
Triple Threat - fight three wrestlers in the ring

This game also features King of Ring and Beat The Clock Match will also smackdown vs tournament and road to wrestlemaina.

The game controls lack their just is not much on them but mainly lifts like power bombs it really just feels like your fighting the same match over and over. I found at least one wrestler i enjoyed playing as and that was Rey Mysterio is finisher the is good with the Wii controls. The taunt system is also a good idea to have in this.

But what i do like in a wrestling game is the modes the fighting i like having a pretty long match but with this every match. But with the wii version of this the matches usually lasts under 5 and 3 minutes, the entrance's last longer then the time your wrestling you can tell that this was mostly made for multiplayer.

Main Event mode is the main game 24/7 mode has been removed and Main Event mode sees you fighting on Raw or Smackdown you even fight on ECW. Now the crazy thing on this game is the Pay Per Views you will end up fighting at No Mercy on here weekly but in the real WWE this event only happens once a year This happens on countless times. This gets boring and brings the game down to shame.

It just feels like this game wasn't worked on as good as it could of been made this is no where as good as Day Of Reckoning. What should been used on this game is the classic controller we would of got a better game out of it but no we get the Wii controls which does not even suit the game.

Overall

Good Points
- Graphics
- Arena's (they do look good)
- Taunts
- Joey Style's gives some exciting commentary

Bad Points
- Controls are limited
- Main Event Mode is nothing like WWE should be
- Matches are to short
- Cannot watch your entrance during in create a character mode
- Commentary gets annoying after you played it a few times its the same
thing Jim Ross and Jerry The King Lawler's commentary sounds the same as last years

The price should be lowed down because £39.99 - £34.99 is way to much for this and it should of been worked on a lot more this game.

2000 Wii Points Card review

The Wii points card is pretty good this lets you buy games from SNES, N64, mega Drive and a few other console's. I bought Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2 and for the price it was worth it. Here there about £13.99 to £14.99

Super Smash Bros. Brawl review

I can not wait for Super Smash Bros im going to buy this right away as soon as it comes out. I'm not a big Mario fan im more of a Donkey Kong fan. But i can't wait to play as Solid Snake or Sonic the graphics look brilliant so far. This should be the best game on Wii

Overated

The Sims i used to enjoy but now its boring and its the same thing after same thing. This is not the best pc game around at all i find Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 a whole lot better then this. The expansion packs of Sims 2 are a joke about £19.99 for add on's which arent even good come on all EA and Maxis are trying to do is cash more money on a few more crappy updates

This is one Console everyones got to pla

The Wii may not have good graphics such as Playstation 3 or XBOX 360 but who cares the controls for the Wii makes this console so good. PS3 and 360 have the same old joypads where you just sit on your armchair been lazy.
The Wii makes you get up and do a bit of exercising while playing your games. I find it annoying how everyone says the Wii is gay with it's controls, but look at how much the Wii has sold at here in England for Christmas it is sold out almost everywhere making it hard to buy one of these.
The Wii adds more value that you can download classic games from snes, nes, mega drive, n64 and others.

If you want fun and a new game experience buy the Nintendo Wii

Wii Sports review

Wii sports is a great game to introduce you to the whole control system the wii has to offer.

This features 5 games:

Golf: Not a great game on it i dont like Golf much anyway.

Tennis: This has to be one of the best on it controls work great in the game no problem with that. The bad thing is you cant move the player at all which makes it a little bit easier for you.

Bowling: It is pretty good it is better if you have someone to play with on it and the controls do work great on the game.

Boxing: Fun and enjoyable it gets easy first once after you play a few rounds then starts getting harder.

Baseball: I hate to watch this on tv and even play it but playing it on the Wii is fun i find this is the best game on Wii Sports. It keeps me entertained for hours as always starts off easy then gets harder.

Wii Sports is a great way to show you what the Wii can actually do and its great that it is free if it wasn't i would of never have bought it.

Amazing Game for all Simpson Fans

i have to say that this is one the best simpsons game of all time. This is just like the teenage mutant ninja turtles arcade game. If you like games like streets of rage and final fight then you will love this.

WTF: Work Time Fun review

WTF is not bad has games where you have to work like putting pen lids on, chopping wood making sure you dont kill a bunny, theres just a load of crazy games on there. The game is pretty good im pretty lucky to buy this game as it has never be released in the UK i ended up buying this from ebay American edition. This is worth a look at if you like mini games

Bishi Bashi Special review

i always love games which have mini games and Bishi Bashi Special is the best one out of them all. This does not even beat Wario Ware. Im glad i still own this game because i never see it anymore in shops its pretty rare now.

Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow review

This game is worth the money i have been playing this for three days so far had tons of fun on it. This has a gripping story Gabe Logan just makes this game interesting. Syphon Filter games are the best that PSP has to offer in this genre its a must buy for any PSP owners. You can play online on this to against other people around the world
